Logan finished!

Finaly I managed to finish my latest project, my custom Logan Grimnar!
I think I kept good progress through it all, but got pushed out of gear at the very end by a pesky Norovirus.
But now me and my family are back on our feet and tonight I've taken some photos of the mini. Enjoy!

Logan, some basic colouring!

Managed to get Logan primed (in the bicycle storage room in the basement) tonight, and got the base Russ Grey and some washing done. Also the massive rock he's standing on and his head got some love.

Logan Grimnar

Started a new conversion project last night since I'm not happy with the way the original Logan mini looks and the fact that I've already have two home made special characters: Ragnar Blackmane and Björn the Fellhanded (though Björn still isn't fully painted).
Can't wait for the green stuff to set so I can prime and start painting this one!

Bought and assembled some Fenrisian wolves today, not the most inspiring minis to glue together perhaps but at least I had a go at some fancy basing.
Now I just have to wait for the weather to stop being all wintery, so they can be primed. Or maybe I'll sneak down in the basement some night and do it there.

Stupid Landraider, and some painting company

So I've been busy painting my second Landraider the past couple of weeks, it's slow progress and I'm getting a bit fed up doing it. But this time, instead of starting to paint another mini, I've decided to do some details on the tank when I don't feel like cleaning up the shading of the hull.

Last night I was accompanied by an old friend of mine who just decided to start painting (and hopefully playing with) some minis again after many years of absence from the hobby. While I didn't paint much myself, I did give him some advice.
And yes, that room is my son's to-be-room when he gets old enough!

Mail delivery

At last the etched brass I ordered a couple of weeks ago arrived today!
Time to get some proper iconography onto the Landraider Redeemer. Hopefully I'll have some time tonight to play around with it.

First!

So I've finally created my blog. My idea was to use this as a way to better keep track of my progress on my ever growing (though slowly) Space Wolves army. I might sneak in the odd painting/convertion tutorial aswell as some pictures from my profession as a 3D-illustrator at one of Sweden's largest architect companies.
